Charles Griffith is a lifelong youth and community development practitioner whose career spans more than 25 years of service to the people of Barbados. His journey from Youth Officer to Member of Parliament reflects a deep commitment to empowerment, mentorship, and community transformation.

He has held numerous leadership roles within St. John, including founding member and former President of the Edge Cliff Community Club, President of the Mount Tabor Primary PTA, President and Head Coach of the St. John Sonics Basketball Club, and Chairman of the St. John Youth Development Council.

As a Youth Officer for two decades, Charles received multiple awards for excellence in youth development. His Project Oasis initiative has provided mentorship and support to at-risk boys, while his work in sports has demonstrated the power of discipline, teamwork, and leadership in shaping lives.

He holds a Diploma in Youth Work, a Diploma in Sports Management, and a BSc in Sociology with Social Work. His holistic approach extends beyond youth, encompassing families and senior citizens, ensuring inclusive community progress.

Charles is the proud father of three children and serves St. John with passion, integrity, and a clear vision for generational upliftment.
