Toni Moore is a labour leader, educator, and parliamentarian whose career has been defined by advocacy, integrity, and a deep commitment to workers’ rights and social justice. She is the first woman to serve as General Secretary of the Barbados Workers’ Union in its near 85-year history.

Her professional journey began in education before transitioning into trade unionism, where she has played a leading role in research, negotiation, policy advocacy, and worker education. Her influence extends globally through senior roles within the International Labour Organization, the International Trade Union Confederation, and the Commonwealth Trade Union Group.

Elected to represent St. George North in 2020 and 2022, Toni has distinguished herself as a calm, disciplined, and principled voice in Parliament, championing worker protection, productivity, education, and community empowerment.
